Anxiety- not really our best friend, but we know it pretty well.
It's paranoid, mind racing, chest tightening irrational fears. Over 7 million people can identify with a Generalized Anxiety Disorder. It can range from being mildly overwhelmed in stimulating situations to full on passing out in public places. No matter the severity, anxiety is a daily struggle for many, and our coping skills vary far and wide.
So if you find yourself on this particular blog page, then fantastic! Cuz this lady copes through humor- sure I'm sad and paranoid, but eh, I'll live. A way to face anxiety head on is to poke fun at it. That way, it feels a little less scary.
